Cleveland, OH - Mike Gibbons has taken the lead in the Ohio Senate Republican primary field! The poll was conducted between January 28-30, 2022 by Cygnal, a top-rated national GOP polling firm.

“I am incredibly excited that our message of preserving the American dream is resonating with Ohio voters. As I travel the state, I am hearing from hardworking Ohioans that they want a true America First conservative to represent them in Washington. I am humbled that a growing number of Ohioans are putting their faith in me to be their next U.S. Senator,” Gibbons stated. 

Key findings of the poll:

• Gibbons holds a 3% lead over Mandel while the other candidates are in single digits.
• Gibbons’ strongest support comes from voters 55 years of age or older and self-identified Trump Republicans.
• Gibbons leads by 9% among self-identified Very Conservative voters
• Gibbons leads among Evangelical Protestants, Mainline Protestants and Catholic voters.
