Gibbons for Ohio Announces Consulting Team

Cleveland, OH - Today, the Gibbons for Ohio campaign announced its consulting team for the 2022 Ohio Senate run. The team includes: Ascent Strategic as the general consulting team; Doug Stafford as a senior advisor; Brock McCleary with Cygnal as pollster; and the Strategy Group Company as media consultants.

Ascent Strategic is a national strategic consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Its partners Michael Biundo, Andrew Boucher, Derek Dufresne, and Kory Wood have worked on races up and down the ballot. Collectively they have served in senior roles to nine presidential campaigns including serving as senior adviser to President Trump’s 2016 race. 

Doug Stafford is a veteran campaign advisor and currently the chief strategist for Sen. Rand Paul and RANDPAC. 

Brock McCleary is a Vice President at Cygnal. McCleary has served as pollster to the Trump campaign and also served as Polling Director and Deputy Political Director at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). 

The Strategy Group Company is a full service consulting firm based in Delaware, Ohio. They will focus on messaging, production, and placement of television and radio advertisements for the Gibbons campaign.
