Gibbons for Ohio Finishes Second Quarter with Most Cash on Hand in Ohio Senate Race

Cleveland, OH - U.S. Senate candidate Mike Gibbons’ campaign finished the second quarter of 2021 with the most cash on hand out of any candidate running for the open Ohio Senate seat with $5.8 million. Gibbons for Ohio also raised more than any other candidate in the country seeking an open U.S. Senate seat bringing in $6.2 million. 

The Gibbons’ campaign also holds 40 percent of all cash on hand out of the declared candidates that filed in the second quarter with at lease $1 million cash on hand.

“Our campaign’s most recent fundraising report demonstrates my commitment to serving as Ohio’s next U.S. Senator,” Gibbons stated. “Our campaign is well organized, well funded, and ready to make an impact in all 88 counties across the state of Ohio.” 


In Gibbons’ 2018 bid, he received 32 percent of the vote and won 38 counties in a five way primary.
