Gibbons Praises Senate Republicans for Upholding Election Integrity

Cleveland, OH - U.S. Republican Senate candidate Mike Gibbons lauds Senate Republicans for defeating the blatant partisan power grab, S.1, that would federalize our state run elections. 

S.1 was an attempt by Democrats to force taxpayers to fund political campaigns, override voter ID laws, and mandate ballot harvesting in all states. These big government ideas would weaken election integrity up and down the ballot. 

“With a 50/50 vote it is yet another reason Republicans need to fight to take back control of the U.S. Senate. While Democrats want to seize control of elections to ensure they keep power, Republicans are working to guarantee fairness and transparency in our electoral process,” Gibbons stated.
