Statement from Mike Gibbons on the Ohio School Boards Association’s Decision to Withdraw from National Association

Cleveland, OH - U.S. Senate candidate Mike Gibbons released the following statement after the Ohio School Boards Association announced it is cutting ties from its national organization: 

“Parents have a fundamental right to be involved in decisions regarding their children's education. School Board members are elected officials that are responsible to the community that elects them. Concerned parents are not 'domestic terrorists' and speaking at a meeting should not involve federal government intervention. I applaud the Ohio School Boards Association for withdrawing their membership from the National School Boards Association. It is clear as the national organization has become a front for leftists determined to push their woke ideology on our kids.”
