Cleveland, OH - Following yesterday's endorsement of Mike Gibbons by Seneca County Commissioners Mike Kerschner and Shayne Thomas, Crawford County Commissioners Doug Weisenauer and Jenny Vermillion announced their endorsements today. These endorsements come on the heels of Delaware County Commissioner Jeff Benton's at the end of 2017. State Senator Jay Hottinger also endorsed Gibbons at the end of the year, adding his name to several other significant December endorsements.
"I enthusiastically endorse Mike for the U.S. Senate," Commissioner Weisenauer said. "Mike is the best positioned to beat Sherrod Brown and as a conservative outsider, we know that Mike will always put Ohioans first."
Commissioner Vermillion added, " I cannot envision a more competent, sincere, and steadfast candidate to run for Sherrod Brown’s senate seat. Washington needs a man who has the knowledge of what makes America the beacon on the hill and the experience in business that will benefit all Americans versus an incumbent who has only ever lived in politics. Mr. Gibbons experience and knowledge will be a catalyst to continue to Make America Great!"
Other recent endorsements for Gibbons include Joy Padgett, the Chair of Ohio Women for Trump, and the endorsement of Belmont County Republican Party Chairman Christopher Gagin as well as the overwhelming endorsement of the Franklin County Republican Party.
