Cleveland, OH - U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Gibbons has released the following statement on U.S. Senate Bill 1795:

“Yesterday, Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats tried to ram through on-demand abortion legislation that attempted to codify Roe v. Wade, nullify all state laws against abortion, and legalize abortion for any reason at any point of the pregnancy. I’m 100 percent pro-life, have been a pro-life advocate my entire life, and strongly believe every life is a gift from God. My mother was adopted, so it’s a deeply personal issue to me. This bill showcases exactly why, more than ever, we have to elect leaders that will stand for life and defend the unborn. As your next U.S. Senator, I will vote to protect the unborn and block any attempt to federalize abortion.”
