WTAS: U.S Senate Candidate Mike Gibbons Launches Statewide Bus Tour

January 10, 2021

Cleveland, OH - U.S Senate candidate Mike Gibbons made several different stops at local businesses across Ohio during the launch week of his statewide bus tour. Gibbons discussed everything from economics and the national debt to being pro-life and against Critical Race Theory. He believes with his working-class background and private sector experience he is the right choice to represent Ohio in Washington.

“[Gibbons] said another difference between himself and other candidates in the field, ‘I'm not interested in a career. I believe firmly in term limits. The founders wanted people to take the expertise they've built in the private sector to Washington. Apply it to the problems of the government and then come home and that's exactly what I intend to do.’"

The Lima News

“Gibbons believes what separates him from the rest of the Republican primary field is he isn’t a lifetime politician. He says he just wants to guide the country back in the right direction for the good of future generations.”

Hometown Stations

“Mike Gibbons was in town campaigning for his chance to go to Washington…He spoke to voters about his upbringing, and how he is a successful businessman, but also is a pro-life, second amendment supporting Republican who believes in defending the border, and is concerned with the left who believes he is the right fit for the job.”

Daily Advocate

“Republican Mike Gibbons, who is running for the U.S. Senate seat soon to be vacated by Rob Portman, is on an 88-county tour of Ohio. On Jan. 6, he stopped at Montage Cafe in Greenville, to speak to voters about his platform, and answer questions.”

Bob Frantz Show

“The goal of trying to get elected requires you to go out and find those people that may not be interested in every word that comes out of your mouth. But, you have to know what you’re made up of and what you stand for and what you believe in. So that’s the idea here, and we're starting it in Parma, that’s where I grew up."
